Although it’s a bit too late to say but, Merry Christmas everyone! It’s the most joyful time of the year again when family and friends gather together, exchange presents and feast to a sumptuous meal on the eve of Christmas.

Anyway, I thought it’s only fit to share with you what I was up to during the holiday season as well. Yes, we did spend a delightful Christmas dinner with my family and by the very day of Christmas, we decided to go out and skate with Fuji!

Skating with Fuji? Well, little known fact, you can climb the highest mountain in Japan by car. Well, technically about at least 30 percent of its overall height. Not may be the most adventurous thing to say but it will give you the best full view and closer look to the mountain that seems to be now just a single reach away.

This place is called Grinpa. It may not be the most visited and famous amusement park in the country but sure it’s a place you’d be hearing from me coming again, most specifically because of their wide open Ice skating rink.

Now I wouldn’t be too mouthful on every detail but in order to get here if you are interested, you can take a local bus from the city (station) of Gotemba or Numazu  and it will take you directly here. Don’t forget to also check the park’s official website for seasonal events.

Whether you are up for some skating like me, enjoy some cute rides or even just wanted a place away from the crowded amusement parks in the city, then why not give yourself a road trip here. It may not exceed everyone’s expectation but it’s definitely something worth giving a chance for.
