Happy 2017! Can’t believe I have already spent two New Years  in Japan. As to celebrate, we figured out to revisit one of our favorite places in this country, Kyushu. The big island of Kyushu is located in the southern part right before the small island Okinawa (although we won’t go that far).

Kyushu is without a doubt a beautiful place. I have traveled most of its major cities including Fukuoka, Hakata, Sasebo, Saga, Kumamoto, Nagasaki etc. and trust me it’s one of the best trips I ever had ( by the way, I wrote about most of those trips here in my blog about a year ago, please check my older blog posts) 🙂

Anyway, since I myself have a thing for theme parks (as old as I am), I want to show you Kyushu’s biggest Dutch Town Theme park found in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture – The Huis Ten Bosch. Actually I have visited this place two years ago but since then I had always wanted to go back and I thought, now was the chance! So without further ado, allow me to show you around….

Upon entering, these are the few things you will see….

Once inside, you will no longer feel like you are in Japan but rather in a beautiful town in Europe….

To make the most of our visit here, we stayed in one of their hotels. But my most favorite part I guess are there unique theme houses….

Not only they have sophisticated facades, they also created unique attractions of their own…

Well if you think we’ll call it a day, wait up and hold your horses because I’ll be taking you in the day two of our trip in the beautiful Huis Ten Bosch. I’ll be soon updating you guys where we are up to next in our itinerary because this place is ridiculously huge!
