As promised, I’ll take you to the next part of our trip in Sasebo City’s Huis Ten Bosch. I’ve known this place not only for its sophisticated ambiance and European facades, but also how they parade beautiful flower field and unique gardens that felt like it was taken straight out from an Alice in Wonderland book. However, since we came here in the midst of the winter season, I have in advanced anticipated that this might not be the time that I’m going to see those again. But, no tears were shed since they had the cleverest idea that made me just screamed fabulous! And that’s their indoor hanging flower garden. Now allow me to open the doors for you…

Well actually, this was part of their annual Flower Festival that exhibits extraordinary flower arrangements from various artists inside and even outside the country. This one is a room filled with hanging orchids. Each stem is manually and separately attached through a nylon inside a test tube filled with water.

Sorry but I just couldn’t contain myself from being all sentimental and vain especially that my entire outfit a chord to the floral and feminine ambiance of this room. 🙂

As much as I would love to stay in this new found comfort zone, we headed to the next room called the Mural Room. Well, I guess the name would explain itself already…

Every inch of this house is surrounded with vibrant flowers exuding their wonderful scents. Needless to say, we had ourselves a blooming spring in the time of winter. 🙂
