KOREADVENTURE PART 4: SEOUL’S HEART LOCKS

For the last part of my KOREADVENTURE, I will take you to the most romantic place in Korea! This is where people lock their promises to forever on top of the hasty panoramic view of the capital. Here we are in Seoul’s iconic Namsan Tower located at the top of Namsan Mountain. It is known to be a communication and an observation tower viewing the entire city since it first opened in the 80’s.

Around the tower is the country’s very own version of love padlocks which they called the heart locks. It has been widely visited with tourists especially couples from all over the world ever since it started.

The colorful love locks are hang around the fences and railings which surrounds the tower. If you are with your special someone, this is the perfect place for you to bind your love together through this lock.

You can just easily spend the entire day here and even watch until the sun slowly sets on the horizon. Not to mention Namsan Tower also has the most dreamy view of city lights.

Well if you couldn’t participate in the love lock tradition, this place still have plenty of things for everyone. There’s a gaming center, shopping and dinning areas, plus a museum and a science center inside the tower itself.

I guess this is the best time for me to conclude my trip in Korea. I hope somehow I made you wish to visit the country too. If you’ve ever been to Korea or is currently living there, please do share your own experiences and recommendations. I would love to come back and explore more!
